Peace, Love and Happiness: Heart Stamps

All you need is love..Make these sweet little hearts to spread some love. With some paint, a paper towel roll and paper, your little love can have a blast stamping their heart out with this easy to throw together craft.

Craft/Activity/Snack: Paper towel roll heart stamps
Objective: Use a paper towel roll to make heart shapes with paint on paper.
Skills Utilized: shape recognition, fine motor skills, color recognition
Suggested Reading: One Love by Cedella Marley
Materials: paint, paper, paper towel rolls

First, bend your paper towel rolls ( I cut ours in half so we could use lots of colors) into a heart shape.

Then, have your little one dip the heart “stamp” into the paint.

Let them stamp and stamp away! We used all the sides of the paper towel roll for different color hearts.

The end result: a heart warming masterpiece!

Ways to Expand Upon this Activity:

  1. Count how many hearts your child stamps.
  2. Use crayons to color in the hearts.
  3. Make a list of all the loved ones in your life. ❤️❤️❤️
